38+ Useful Tools for Web Design

I have a blog, you have a blog, he has a blog...! OK, I'm just joking a little, but today if you don't have a personal website or at least a blog you are simply no one!! Last year I've started this one and I must admit that i was totally inexpert...and for this reason I've chosen the Blogger platform. I still remember the first days when I've tried to change the layout...and I remember the horrible first template I've used!!
In the last year I'm grew...and now I'm able to modify confidently practically every parts of this blog. During this year I've discovered (and used) lots of interesting resources found online or in other blogs...and now I just want to write here parts of my bookmarks that, I hope, can help also you.
For example, do you need to change some colors in your layout? Take a look at these sites: Color Schemer Gallery, COLOURlovers, Website Color Picker, I Like Your Colors. Do you need a menu like the one that i use here' Try one of these (free) services: Listamatic, Exploding Boy, Alvit.de, Dynamic Drive, Our own collection of CSS Menus. Need an icon? go here: IconFinder.net, 31 Sources of Quality, Free Icons. After some times, you must find if some parts of your site of some posts of your blog points to death links: DeadLinks.com, Online Link Validation Tool. Are you sure that your blog is well seen on all the different browser? You can try all of them without installing them: Browser Shots, Browsercam, NetMechanic. Want to validate your code? Here sites that can help you: HTML, CSS, RSS and Atom, RSS, Atom, and KML. Do you like the little icon on the address bar (named favicon)? Do you want your own one? Best Brainstorming Web 2.0 Applications

This time i want to publish a new "Toolbox": the best brainstorming WEB 2.0 Applications. All the services listed below are totally free and totally usable via a web browser.

WikiMindmap: its a joint between a search engine for Wikipedia and a conceptual map like a brainstorming. This service permits us to running searches into Wikipedia in a new way: all the results will be in fact show not in the usual list but in a conceptual map.

Musicovery: it's an online jukebox. Like in wikimidmap, the research gives a result is a graphic brainstorming like conceptual map. The main characteristic is that this map will be automatically generated when you listen the first song: obviously all the songs correlated with the first have something in common with the first like the genre, artist and so on. A very interesting service.

Mind 42: this site permits brainstorming between two or more people. You can draw, step by step, your idea or your mental maps and other people can interact with your draw to help you in evolve your ideas.

Kayuda: like Mind42 permits brainstorming between friends or colleagues. You can share your mental maps or see and interact with what your friends have inserted.

Other similar Web 2.0 project are:
Mindomo
MindMeister
Bubbl.us
BubbleMind

If you find some other interesting services, simply make a comment to this post and add your preferred service!
